Employment Opportunities

The Bylong Coal Project will provide job opportunities over the construction phase (up to 665 workers) and throughout operations (up to 470 workers during peak operations, with an average annual direct workforce of approximately 290).

The Project is currently in the planning and approvals stage and we are also concurrently facilitating a major contracts tender process via invitation. Pending Government approvals enabling commencement of the Project, construction is proposed to commence in the first quarter of 2018.

Successful major contract tenderers will be responsible for the appointment of individual vendors, for smaller parcels of work. They will also be responsible for the recruitment of a construction workforce.

KEPCO and successful major tenderers will advertise employment opportunities closer to the time of construction.
