Requests for community funding

KEPCO’s Community Investment Fund invests in strategic community-based projects through sponsorships and donations.

The Bylong Coal Project makes annual contributions to worthwhile local initiatives such as the Kandos Rylstone Men’s Shed and the Rylstone Kandos Show. KEPCO was also proud to participate in the Walgett hay drive, an initiative led by local Bylong landholders.

Some of the groups and events supported by the Community Investment Fund to date include the Bylong Christmas Celebration, Mudgee Showground Carols, Cudgegong Valley Mathematics Enrichment Program, Mudgee Disability Support Service, Rylstone Public School Parents and Citizens Association, Kandos High School, Rylstone Hospital Auxiliary, Rylstone Branch Combined Pensioners and Superannuates, the Rylstone and District Pony Club and Mudgee Men’s Shed.
